Passport Requirements

A foreign national entering the United States is generally required to present a valid passport and visa issued by a U.S. Consular Official. Visit the U.S. Customs Border Protection for more information and identification requirements.

What makes a passport valid?

  • Does not expire within the date parameters established by the country of issue or travel. Some countries require the passport remain valid for six months after the date of departure.
  • Has blank pages for immigration stamps, not including the final page of the visa section.
  • Is in good condition and is not damaged or torn.

Visa Information

It is the sole responsibility of the attendee to take care of his/her requirements. Attendees who require an entry visa must allow sufficient time for the application procedure. Visa applicants should be submitted at least 90 days before travel.
Some countries will require visa applicants to provide supplementary information explaining the purpose of their travel, such as a letter of invitation. A link to generate a customer letter of invitation will be available in the registration confirmation email. The 2022 International Congress will not contact embassies or consulates directly on behalf of the applicant.
