Abstract Submissions

 

The Scientific Committee of the 2022 International Congress on Integrative Medicine and Health is soliciting submissions for research abstracts, which will be presented at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, May 24-26, 2022. The theme of the International Congress will be Advancing Healthcare Together: Inclusive. Informed. Integrative.

The International Congress 2022 will accept abstracts for oral and poster presentation consideration from Monday, July 12, 2021, through Friday, October 29, 2021, at Midnight Eastern Time in the following topic areas:

 

  • Basic Science
  • Clinical Research: Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine
  • Clinical Research: Herbs and Supplements
  • Clinical Research: Manual Therapies
  • Clinical Research: Mind-Body
  • Education Research
  • Health Equity and Health Disparities
  • Health Services Research
  • Research Methodology
  • Other

 

The submitting author must be the same person who will present the abstract at the International Congress. A limited number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentations.

 

Important Dates

  • Submission site opens Monday, July 12, 2021
  • Submission site closes Friday, October 29, 2021
  • Disposition notices will be sent Wednesday, December 29, 2021

Abstract Submission Procedure

Visit https://consortium.secure-platform.com/a/solicitations/1/home and create your log in and password. Once you fill in your User Profile details, you’ll be able to Start Submission. Record and file your password for future use.  You must use the same email and password to log in to your account.

Once logged in select “Start Submission”. Then follow the instructions on the submission site to complete your abstract submission.

  • Select the Call for Research Abstracts Submission Type.
  • Indicate your abstract topic.
  • Enter your abstract title in sentence case. (This Is a Sample of Title Case). Titles are limited to 150 characters.
  • Enter if you would like to be considered for a poster presentation only. 
  • Enter your purpose, methods, results, and conclusion into the spaces provided.
  • Review your abstract. Confirm all special characters are showing correctly and that the abstract did not exceed the 300-word limit. Words exceeding the 300-word limit will be excluded from the abstract. 
  • Fill in your Submitter Information.
  • Select the integrative medicine and health modality that most directly applies.
  • Enter details if you are a student or trainee or post-doctoral fellow and would like to be considered for a travel award.
  • Enter presenting/submitting author information.
  • Enter all authors’ information including the presenting author. Authors’ names will appear in the order they were entered on the submission site. The presenting author’s name will be underlined and their email address published in congress materials.  
  • Please do not enter information, such as author’s names, contact information or abstract titles in all capital letters. Capitalize letters only where necessary.
  • Enter whether the work has been presented somewhere else or is original work.
  • Specify if the abstract is based on research that tested a specific commercial product or accepted support for the project. (All accepted presenting authors will be required to submit a CME disclosure form prior to presenting at the International Congress).
  • Click the “Save and Finalize” button to submit your abstract.
  • If you’re not ready to submit, save your abstract by clicking the save button on the bottom of the screen. You can return and edit your abstract at any time prior to the deadline.

 

Acceptance of Abstracts

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to decide whether a submission will be accepted, and the right to determine the presentation form.  Submitters will be notified of acceptance status and form of presentation by Wednesday, December 29, 2021.
